Toronto – 11 April 2021) Salman Ghazi informed about the demise of Dr Abidullah Ghazi in Chicago. He was 85.

Dr Ghazi was author or editor of 150 text and support books on a complete Islamic syllabus designed with his wife Dr Tasneema Ghazi especially for the Muslims children living in Western countries or studying English-medium schools. He was among the 500 most influential Muslims of the world selected by Jordianin Royal Academy.

He did his M A (political science) and BTh fromAligarh Muslim University where he was a classmate of Mohammad Hanid Ansari, former Vice President of India.Lter he his another M A (Economic) fromteh Lodndon SAchool of Economics and PhD on the revivalist views of Raja Rammohan Roy fro Harvard Univerity, USA.

Dre Ghazi was an accomplished Urdu poet and had published his anthology, Zikr e Saman Izaraan.

Eldest son of Maulana Hamidul ansari Ghazi, a freedom fioghter and renovwned Urdu jourbna;list of era of freedom stryggle,. and grandson  Maulana Muhammad Mitan @ Mansoor Ansari, who was the organzing spirit behind the Silken Letters Movement, first independence movement after the 1857n debacle.

DrGhazi and Dr Tasneema Ghazi have five chiildren, Bushra Yasmin @ Seemin Ghazi, Rashid Mansoor Ghazi, Saba Ghazi-Amin, Suhaib Ghazi, a lawyer, and Dr Usama Ghazi.
