644 Tablighi Jamaat members left for Tamil Nadu from Delhi by special train today
They thanked Jamiat General Secretary Maulana Mahmood Madani for every kind of help. Jamiat provided food on board and saw them off till station.
New Delhi, May 16, 2020: A special train carrying 644 Tablighi Jamaat members left from Old Delhi railway station at 3 o’clock today for Tamil Nadu. The train will reach via Chennai to Tiruchirappalli
in 28 hours long journey.
These Jamaat members were taken from different quarantine centers in the national capital and as well as from Saharanpur, Sanbhal UP and Nuh Mewat. They showed no signs or symptoms of COVID-19 or have recovered from the illness and are ready to travel back home.
The arrangement was done based on the special request by Tamil Nadu government and special efforts by Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind General Secretary Maulana Mahmood Madani whose team helped them in getting permission and other requirements.
The Jamiat team was also present at old Delhi railway station to see them off. the Jamiat arranged iftar, dinner and sahri (dawn time food during Ramazan) on board for the all departed. Jamiat youth club boys carried food items as railway staffs were not available due to COVID leave.
Happily leaving for home before Eid, they thanked Maulana Mahmood Madani and his team for special help from getting permission to taking them there. Maulana Hakeemuddin Qasmi JUH secretary said it is matter of gratitude for JUH members to help our tablighi brothers. We pray his happy journey.
