Solapur – Urdu Primary School conducts media festival

That was an interesting opportunity for us, we interviewed our teachers head master and parents, said IV std. student Alina Bhagnagri. She further said that,it has built our confidence and we came to know that how media people work.
In an unique and attention drawing attempt Social Urdu Primary School, Solapur (Maharashtra) had organised media festival on Tuesday for its students.
The event was successful as nearly 400 students took part and had an experience of becoming a journalist.
During the festival students prepared artificial booms (Mic) and questioned their Head Master teachers and parents.
Head master of the school Asif Iqbal informed aamnasamnamedia that it was our first attempt, fortunately we got huge success, we want to infuse democratic values among our students and groom their personality, these were our main objectives behind, added Asif.
He said,our staff members were working on this project since last two weeks. We tried our best to involve maximum students.
Students Sayed Hassan Inamdar and Sayed Ziyauddin Qazi had similar experiences, they say that we enjoyed the media festival a lot and worked in groups. We asked our teachers about their educational qualifications, future plans etc.
Parents also registered their presence in a large number to see their children on stage and questioning people.
Mrs. Tarannum Kakhandkikar lauded this initiative and congratulated head master and staff of the school. She said, this kind activities increase stage daring, team work and coordination among students.
Parent Sayed Gufran also thanked school authorities for coming up with this activity. He thinks that such activities are need of the hour,should be conducted regularly.
Senior Journalist from Gulbarga was the chief guest of the event and other media personalities were also present.
